Minimum Margin
The general guideline for a repair shop is an average of 40% profit margin on each repair order.
Set the desired minimum margin for a repair order here. Once set and saved, R.O. Writer warns the user with a popup message if the overall margin for the repair order falls below this amount.
The minimum margin specifically for parts is configured when setting up pricing matrices. Parts pricing for parts with no department selected and in Parts Departments for parts with a department selected.
