Specific Condition Questions

Epicor prompts you to answer Specific Condition questions about the vehicle; for example, if the vehicle has an automatic transmission. The answers to these conditions impact the matching parts and labor in the Epicor database.

Saving Answers to the Vehicle Record

Yes or No answers are saved to the Epicor Tab of the vehicle record automatically. You are not prompted to answer these questions again.

Do Not Know answers are not saved. You will be prompted to answer these questions until you answer Yes or No.

NOTE: Whenever Epicor asks for Specific Conditions information, the Epicor tab of the vehicle record is checked for saved answers before prompting. If a Yes/No answer is found, you are not prompted.

Editing Saved Answers

Sometimes Specific Condition questions are answered incorrectly. Those incorrect answers are then saved to the vehicle record.

If you suspect these answers are incorrect, you can edit them in the vehicle record.

Complete these steps:

  1. Open the vehicle record.
  2. Click the Epicor tab.
    Each line represents a question and answer.
  3. Navigate to the incorrect answer.
    You can sort this window by Group, Specification, or Value.
  4. Double-click on the line. The Settings window appears.

  1. Check Yes, No, or Not Sure as appropriate.
  2. Click OK to close the Settings window.
  3. Click OK on the Edit Vehicle window to save the new answers.
