You can charge customers a fee for using credit cards during the finalize process. (This functionality is not available for advance payments or when charging customer accounts.)
If the Upcharge for Credit Card option is selected in the Configuration module, a 
button appears on Finalize payment window. This fee applies to the payment whether you key in the credit card information or process it electronically.
Balance with Fee Button on Payment Windows
When you click Balance with Fee button, a prompt appears displays the new Balance Due if the fee is added as well as the amount of the fee.
- Click Yes to apply the fee and the new Balance Due.
- Click No to decline the fee.
When you click the payment buttons,
- You are not prompted to apply the fee.
- The new Balance Due amount is processed.
Applying the Fee from Payment Buttons
If you do not click the Balance with Fee button before clicking the Credit Cards, Other Credit Cards, or ePayment button, a prompt appears asking if you want to apply the credit fee to the Balance Due.
- Click Yes to apply the fee.
- The new Balance Due appears on the payment window.
- Click No to decline the fee.
Credit Card Fee on the Customer Invoice
After the repair order is finalized, the credit card fee appears on the printed invoice to the customer.
