Overriding Price Locks on Parts and Labor

When pricing is locked on parts and labor posted to tickets, the lock can be overridden by clicking the Override button. Clicking the Override button unlocks everything on the Editing Parts and Editing Labor windows.

NOTE: Overriding does not unlock the part record in Inventory or the labor record in Configuration.

Tracking Pricing Overrides

Pricing changes are tracked on the Pricing Exception Report.

The Pricing Exception Report has a code for the lock status of the parts or labor:

U for unlocked (applies to internal parts and labor)
L for locked (applies to internal parts and labor)
LM for locked with price minimum (applies to internal parts and labor)
E for external lock
