- When there are no specifications or data for the vehicle.
- When you click the Show All Oils button.
The Epicor Viscosities window displays a list of all viscosities that are linked to oil parts in your shop’s database.
The columns show the following:
- Viscosity – The name of the viscosity.
- Viscosity Group – The group this viscosity was added to in R.O. Writer Configuration.
- Part Number – The part number of the part the viscosity is mapped to.
- Line Code – The line code of the part the viscosity is mapped to.
- Part Description – The description of the part the viscosity is mapped to.
The Engine Oil Capacity field is blank if no capacity is selected on the Smart Oil tab. You can type in the capacity you would like to use.

The viscosity and capacity selected on the Epicor Viscosities window are used in any Smart Oil Job selected on the Smart Oil tab, even when the Smart Oil Job doesn’t have that viscosity mapped.
