You can access the Federated catalog only from an open ticket.
When a ticket is open in R.O. Writer, you can access the Federated catalog by clicking the Federated button in the
When you click the Federated button, Smart eCat opens to the Catalog tab, which displays the Federated website.

Searching by Part Number
You can type in the part number field above the columns to search by part number. Make sure the part number you enter matches the vehicle on the open ticket.
This is a wildcard search and possible matches appear below the list as you type.
You can select an item in the dropdown list to launch the search. The results appear on the next window. Usually, there is only one part in the search results because you select the part in the list.
Check the On Hand Only box to eliminate results with no on-hand quantity.
Click the Hide Cost link to hide the cost of all search results.
Searching by Category
You can use the columns below the vehicle to search by category. The columns move from left to right and filter dynamically with each selection.
When you click Next, every item in the Select Parts Column is searched. The results for each category appear in each section under the category section.
Navigating the Search Results
When you search by category all search results appear in a long list. Use the scroll bar on the right to scroll through all the results.
Category Headings
Each category is separated by an orange heading.
To Select Search Filters
Each section heading also has filters that can be applied to the category. The search results under the heading are narrowed as each filter is checked.
Check the On Hand Only box to eliminate results with no on-hand quantity.
Click the Hide Cost link to hide the cost of all search results.
