The PayPros ePay integration works only with Payment Processing, Inc. (PPI) and the MagTek IPAD credit card device, which must be acquired from PPI.
- PayPros ePay complies with the credit card security requirements.
- PayPros ePay integration accepts both credit and pin debit cards.
- PayPros ePay includes signature capture for credit cards, estimate authorizations, and signing the final invoice.
- PayPros ePay has its own PayPros ePayment Batch Settlement, which you can run after the settlement process, which occurs as part of the End of Day process.
Requirements
You need
- A MagTek IPAD for each computer that processes credit cards.
- New software because R.O. Writer no longer supports PC Charge.
- PayPros ePay software installed and configured.
Installation
Contact R.O. Writer support and make an appointment to coordinate the installation and integration of PayPros.
Configuration
You must set up the following in the Configuration module:
- Electronic Payment Setup - Enable electronic payment and select the desired options.
- Payment Types - Universal payment types (credit cards brands) must be mapped to R.O. Writer payment types.
- Form Types - Choose form types that include PayPros ePay payment information when printing tickets.
