Using IAP/EZConnect in eOrder

eOrder passes information through our data partner Internet Auto Parts (IAP). Currently, IAP works with several large aftermarket parts providers including O'Reilly and CARQUEST. This documentation focuses on O'Reilly and CARQUEST. For a complete list of IAP partners visit: http://www.iapshop.com.

Prior to using eOrder:

  1. You need to establish an account with your local IAP parts store. If you do not have an existing account contact your local parts store directly or visit their website. Establish a IAP/EZConnect account. R.O. Writer cannot contact parts suppliers on behalf of our customers.
  2. After your relationship is activated, you need to set up an interface for it in Configuration - Configuring the IAP/EZConnect Interface.

Ordering from IAP

You can query and order from IAP by selecting an IAP supplier (O'Reilly or CARQUEST) as the Supplier on the Electronic Ordering window.

Line Codes

You need to use valid IAP part numbers with the correct line codes so that eOrder can find the parts. Check the Download Supplier Lines box before performing a search to make sure you are searching for valid IAP parts number.

The Download Supplier Lines box checked and circled.

You can configure the IAP electronic interface to automatically download the MCL file every seven days by checking the Automatically Download Supplier Lines box when configuring the electronic ordering interface for IAP.
