Tire Supplier Ranking

Tire suppliers created in R.O. Writer Configuration are ranked automatically. When you add a new tire supplier, the new supplier is ranked first automatically. You can adjust the ranking in Tire Quote according to your business needs.

Ranking simply determines the order in which the tire supplier links appear below the search results. You determine the order of the supplier links by clicking the Suppliers menu.

Changing the Order of Tire Supplier Links

Whenever you change the order of the supplier links, Tire Quote needs to refresh, which clears all search criteria and results.

Complete these steps:

  1. Open R.O. Writer.
  2. Open Tire Quote when no ticket is open.
  3. Click Suppliers on the Tire Quote menu bar. The Tire Supplier window opens.

  4. Use the up and down arrows to change the order of the links. The Order column updates the number.

  5. When all suppliers are in the order you want, click Close.

  6. A prompt appears letting you know that Tire Quote needs to refresh.

  7. Click OK. Tire Quote refreshes and the window appears blank. All search results and selections are cleared.
  8. Perform a quick search.
  9. When the search results return the supplier links below the list appear in the new sequence.
