Searching Inventory from Other Stores

When Central Office is installed, a Stores Button appears on the following windows:

The Editing Part Window.
The Inventory View/Add/Edit window.
The Inventory Entry window.

Click the Stores button to check inventory for the part number in other shops. If the part is available by the same part number at another shop, the store number and the quantity available display on the Store Inventory popup window.

The part information on the Stores Inventory window is accurate as of the last "round trip" Central Office Transmission (i.e., stores transmit, the Central Office server transmits, and the stores transmit again). Usually, the stores are one day behind the Central Office server.

NOTE: You cannot add parts from the Store Inventory window.
