Edit Time Card Reasons
Configuration menu > Labor > Edit Time Card Reasons
Employees can use the Employee Time Clock to punch in and punch out each shift to track time at work. The information is compiled into time sheets for each employee.
Occasionally, you need to edit time sheets. For example, the End of Day process may prompt you to edit time cards.
Each time you edit a time card, you are required to enter a reason. The available reasons appear in a dropdown list on the Edit Time Cards window. You set up the reasons in that dropdown list here.
Adding a Reason
Complete these steps:
- Click the Add button.
- The Edit Time Care Reasons window opens.
- Enter the Reason Code (up to three characters) and a Reason description.
- Click Save to save the reason.
- To add another reason,
- Click Clear.
- Click Add.
- Repeat Steps 2–3.
Editing a Reason
Complete these steps:
- Select an item in the list.
- Type in your edits to the Reason description. You cannot edit the Reason Code.
- Click Save.
Deleting a Reason
To delete a reason, select the Reason from the dropdown list and click the Delete button.
