Auto-Filter Jobs Based on Viscosity
On the Smart Oil tab, the list of Smart Oil jobs is filtered by the viscosity selected in the list. Only the Smart Oil jobs that match the selected viscosity appear in the list. This streamlines the process of finding the right job for you.
Viscosity Selected
When a viscosity is selected, the Smart Oil job list includes only the Smart Oil jobs that are mapped to the selected viscosity.
Viscosity Not Selected
When a viscosity is not selected, the Smart Oil job list includes all Smart Oil jobs.
To Select an Unmapped Smart Oil Job
You can select a Smart Oil job that is not mapped to the viscosity and click the Go! button. The Smart Oil process proceeds normally.
- If there is no part available in local inventory, Smart eCat launches an integrated search of your configured suppliers.
- If there is a part in local inventory, that part will appear in the Local Inventory section of the Posted Parts and Labor tab.
Show All and Show Only Smart Oil Jobs Buttons
When a recommended viscosity is selected, the list of Smart Oil jobs is filtered to show only the Smart Oil jobs that are mapped to that viscosity. The Show All Smart Jobs button activates.
Click the Show All Smart Jobs button to remove the viscosity filter. The list includes all Smart Oil jobs, including those that are not mapped to the selected viscosity. The button changes to Show Only Matching Smart Jobs.
You can select a Smart Oil job that is not mapped to the current viscosity and click the Go! button. Smart eCat will search your suppliers for the selected viscosity because there is no mapped part.
To re-filter the list, click the Show Only Matching Smart Jobs button.
