Creating New Tickets

There are toolbar buttons in the main toolbar for each type of ticket you can create.

To create a new estimate, click the New Est toolbar button The new estimate button in the main toolbar..

The modified parts-only ticket window opens. You cannot finalize a parts-only estimate; you need to convert it to a parts invoice first.

Prompts for Required Information When Creating New Tickets

In Configuration, you can require that certain information such as service writer, mileage, and profit center are entered before the ticket can be created.

You can modify the information that is required in the following Configuration settings:

When these items are required, you are prompted to enter the information immediately after the customer and vehicle are selected.
