Charging Fees for Credit Card Payments
You can charge customers a fee for using credit cards during the finalize process. (This functionality is not available for advance payments or when posting payments to customer accounts.)
If the Upcharge for Credit Card option is selected in the Configuration module, a button appears on Finalize payment window. This fee applies to the payment whether you key in the credit card information or process it electronically.
When you click this button, R.O. Writer displays the new Balance Due if the fee is added as well as the amount of the fee.
When you click the Credit Cards or Other Credit Cards or ePayment payment buttons, a popup window appears asking if you want to apply the credit fee and the new Balance Due.
Click Yes to apply the fee. The electronic payment process continues with the new Balance Due amount.
After the repair order is finalized, the credit fee appears on the printed repair order.
