Checklist
The checklist should be an important part of the repair order. By inspecting a customer’s car, value is added to the service, and it is quite possible that the customer’s confidence in the work being done will increase. This is potentially a source of increased revenue for the shop as well.
These items
- Are printed on the repair order, and are saved in history.
- Appear under service recommendations (see Services) if the item is checked as bad.
- May be used for follow-up letters to customers.
There are 18 spaces for checklist descriptions. All of these may be tailored to suit you particular needs.
Recommendations
A list of recommendations can be created for each checklist item. These can also be entered from the repair order (see Checklists).
To add a recommendation, select the checklist item from the dropdown list and click the Add button. Enter the name and click the Save button.
When the information has been saved, click the Cancel button to exit.
