Job-Based Format
Forms can be formatted in the job-based or non-job-based format for tickets.
On the main window, you set the screen to the job-based view by clicking Windows menu > Job Based Repair Orders.
Setting the screen to display tickets in the job-based view does NOT affect the printed format of the form. The form selected and the settings on the Forms Setup window determine if the ticket prints in job-based format.
Printing Documents in Job-Based Format
If you want the printed ticket to be in the job-based format, make sure you do the following for the document type on the Forms Setup window:
- For standard forms, select the correct form.
The standard forms that are job-based have "Job Based" in the name that appears in the dropdown list.
-
For custom forms, check the Job Based box.
- The Job Based box
- Is available only for ticket documents.
- Is active only when CUSTOM FORM is selected in the main form dropdown list.
- Tells R.O. Writer that the selected custom form is in the job-based format.
