Printing Service Intervals

The Service Intervals Plus integration has several helpful printing options:

Services on Printed Invoices

A service interval is essentially a unique kind of labor operation when it is posted to open tickets. As a result, services print to the invoice you hand to the customer the same way that labor operations do. The content of the Description box of the labor operation is what prints on the invoice.

Printing Service Details

You can print out the selected details of one service directly from the Service Intervals tab. You can print only one service at a time.

To Print Service Details

Complete these steps:

  1. Open Service Intervals from an open ticket. Smart eCat options to the service type window of the Service Intervals tab.
  2. Check the service type(s).
  3. Click OK. The service detail window opens displaying the details for the selected service types.
  4. Click the checkbox of the 2 - Labor Row for the Service of the service to select it.

    The top level labor line selected and all sub-rows selected.

  5. Click the Print button in the toolbar The print button in the Service Intervals toolbar.. The selected service details appear in a separate window.

    • If a VIN is included in the vehicle record, it is included on the printed form.
    • If a VIN is NOT included in the vehicle record, the VIN field appears blank.
  6. Click the Print button The print button in the Print Preview toolbar. to print the document.

Printing Vehicle Specifications

You can print the vehicle specifications from the service details window. The Epicor information for the vehicle prints.

To Print Vehicle Details

Complete these steps:

  1. Open Service Intervals from an open ticket. Smart eCat options to the service type window of the Service Intervals tab.
  2. Check the service type box(es).
  3. Click OK. The service detail window opens displaying the details for the selected service types.
  4. Click the Print Specs button in the toolbar.

  5. A separate window opens displaying the Epicor vehicle information for the vehicle in the Status bar at the bottom of the Smart eCat window.
