Smart Fluids

The Smart Fluids feature simplifies the process of adding the most common fluid jobs to open tickets through Smart eCat. You configure Smart eJobs with Smart Fluids, which includes linking to specific part records.

When you select the Smart Fluid jobs in Smart eCat,

• Epicor recommends the correct parts based on the Epicor vehicle information in the ticket.
• Smart eCat selects the specific part based on the part linking in the Smart eJob.

Smart Fluids can be configured for the following fluids:

• Engine oil, which is referred to as "Smart Oil" and features a unique workflow in Smart eCat.
• Automatic transmission fluid
• Engine coolant

NOTE: While Smart Fluids provides powerful benefits to your business, configuring Smart Fluids can be quite complex. To obtain the maximum benefit of using Smart Fluids, R.O. Writer offers and strongly recommends professional configuration by our Professional Services team. Please contact the R.O. Writer Sales team for more information.
