Configuring All Types of Labor to Print Oil Stickers

The labor operation and Smart Job configuration windows includes an Oil Sticker checkbox: The oil sticker box unchecked.. When you check the Oil Sticker checkbox and save, the labor is configured to print oil stickers.

When labor configured to print oil stickers is added to a ticket, an Oil Sticker Printed indicator appears just below the Description field.

To Configure Labor Operations to Print Oil Stickers

Complete these steps:

  1. In the Configuration module, click Configuration menu > Labor > Operations.
  2. Select the Category and Operation.
  3. Confirm that the labor is an oil change or similar job.
  4. Check the Oil Sticker checkbox The oil sticker checkbox..
  5. On the window that opens, enter the oil type as you want it to appear on the printed oil sticker.

    If the Oil Type is blank in the configured labor,

    The Print Oil Sticker window.

    If the Oil Type remains blank when you print, the Oil Type line does not print on the sticker.

  6. Click OK. The labor operation is now set to print oil stickers.

NOTE: If you select this labor operation in a Smart Job, the oil sticker setting does not carry over. You must also check the Oil Sticker box in the Smart Job as well.

To Configure Smart Jobs and Smart eJobs to Print Oil Stickers

If the Oil Sticker box is checked on a labor operation that you select for the Smart Job, you still have to check the Oil Sticker checkbox on the Smart Job. The oil sticker setting from the labor operation does not apply to the Smart Job automatically.

Complete these steps:

  1. Click the Configuration menu > Labor > Smart Jobs.
  2. Select the Job Category.

    The Edit Smart Jobs window.

  3. Select the Smart Job and click the Edit button.
  4. Confirm that the labor is an oil change or similar job.
  5. At the bottom left of the screen, check the Oil Sticker box The oil sticker checkbox..
  6. On the window that opens, enter the oil type as you want it to appear on the printed oil sticker.

    If the Oil Type is blank in the configured labor,

    The Print Oil Sticker window.

    If the Oil Type remains blank when you print, the Oil Type line does not print on the sticker.

  7. Click OK. The Smart Job is set to print oil stickers.
