Upgrading Central Office
If you used Central Office with a previous version of R.O. Writer, you must complete important tasks in your current version of Central Office before you schedule the upgrade of R.O. Writer. These tasks must be completed to prevent potential data loss.
After the R.O. Writer upgrade is complete, you need to upgrade Central Office in R.O. Writer. This is a simple process where you export the server files from each store and import the server files from all stores on the server. The export/import process transmits all the files and settings required for Central Office.
NOTE: After upgrading R.O. Writer, you may want to verify your settings in Central Office before you export and import.
