R.O. Writer recommends that when you post services to open tickets, the services post as follows:
- The labor operation displays the name of the service interval.
- On the Edit Labor window,
- The Category and Operation is the default labor operation selected in R.O. Writer Configuration.
- The labor detail rows of the service appear in the Description. This content prints on the customer invoice.
To create these results in Service Intervals Plus, use the following method:
- In R.O. Writer Configuration,
- Configure a labor operation for service intervals.
- Select the labor operation for service intervals as the default labor for Service Intervals.

- Select Replace Predefined Description in Service Interval Labor Options.
- Make sure the Post All Service Interval Details option is not checked.
- In R.O. Writer main,
- Open a ticket.
- Click the Service Intervals button
to open Service Intervals. - On the Service Types Window, select one service and click OK.
- On the Service Details Window, transfer one service to Smart eCat.
- On the Posted Parts and Labor tab, select
- Post Parts and Labor to a New Job (Recommended) should be selected already.
- Replace Predefined Description (Recommended) should be selected already.
- Click the Post/Exit button when posting only one or the final service to post the service to the open ticket.
- Click the Post button when posting multiple services. You are returned to the Service Details window
