Smart eJobs in Smart eCat

Smart eJobs allow you to include Epicor catalog labor and parts in a labor operation. When a Smart eJob is selected in Smart eCat, you can search your integrated online catalogs for catalog parts.

Smart eJob Tab

Smart eJobs are Smart Jobs you can configure to take full advantage of Smart eCat integrated searches. Smart eJobs are available on the Smart eJob tab in Smart eCat.

Prerequisites

To use Smart eJobs in Smart eCat, the following is required:

• Epicor must be installed and configured.
• The Use Smart eJob option must be checked in the Configuration module (Configuration menu > Repair Order > Catalog Options > Use Smart eJob option).
• Smart eJobs must be configured (Configuration menu > Labor > Smart Jobs and Smart eJobs).

Restrictions

You can post only one Smart eJob to one open ticket at a time. If you try to select another Smart eJob before posting the current Smart eJob, you will be prompted to clear the current selection.
