Fees charged to customers for using a credit card

You can establish this fee by selecting the Upcharge for Credit Card option in the Configuration module. The fee is a percentage of the total repair order amount.

Taxable and Non Tax Supplies + Sales Taxes + Other Taxes/Fees + Credit Charges

Other Receipts

This section includes only advanced and A/R payments that have been received (or posted) on closed repair orders.

Receipt Displays the…

Advance Pay

Total amount of advanced payments received within the selected date range. This number includes repair orders of all statuses - including both open and closed.

When you compare this amount to the Previous Advanced Pay amount in the Payments section, the difference is the status of the repair orders included in the total. Previous Advanced Pay includes advanced payments only on closed repair orders.

A/R Pay

Total amount of Accounts Receivable payments.

Total Sales and Other

This total is not your total sales amount.

This total is used to balance the Sales and Payments section. Those sections do not always match because the Sales section includes

  • Advanced payments on repair orders that haven't been finalized.
  • Amounts charged to Accounts Receivable but not posted.

This total should match the Total under the Payments section.

This section displays the total payments received, broken down by payment type (left column) and then payment method (right column).
